What is the True Message of CHRISTMAS?

Ang sarap talaga kapag Kapaskuhan

Damang-dama mo ang pagmamahalan

Ang tanging wish ko para sa'kin, para sa'yo

Sana magmahalan tayo ngayong pasko

Ayos ba yung pagka- kanta ko? (he,he)

Ala Alden Richards ba yung pagka deliver ko? hehe

Kidding Aside! I just want to greet you first a MERRY MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR!!! I hope na kasama mo ang family mo ngayon celebrating Christmas at kung hindi naman I pray that one day eh buong family kayo makapag Celebrate ng Pasko.

Habang ginagawa ko tong article na to I just realize na mag two years na pala ako since I started blogging at sobra special saken tong article na ginawa ko ngayon para sayo.

I believe everything happen for a purpose and may reason behind everything and that reason is for our own GOOD and WELFARE Yes! Even your darkest past and even the most traumatic experience in your life God allow it for a PURPOSE.

Kaya gusto kita bigyan ng konting background about CHRISTMAS medyo mag-aaral tayo ng theology ngayon (assuming ako , haha) para malaman mo bakit ba merong Pasko or Christmas?

We all know that Christmas is the birthday of Jesus Christ Right? , Most of us yun lang ang alam naten pero hindi naten naiintindihan anu yung reason or Purpose bakit may pasko. The coming of our Lord Jesus Christ was prophesied by many many prophets in the book of kings, it means na discern na nila that there will be a Messiah that will come.

NOTE: ang mga prophets ay hindi mga manghuhula ah? :) Just make my point clear; they have the Gift of Prophecy that comes from the Holy Spirit at yun nga, ang sabi nila that a Messiah will come that will redeem the whole Israel from captivity. Kase nung mga time na yun ang Israel ay nasakop ng ibang kingdom kase they disobey God and they become unrighteous and worship other gods so anu nangyari God turn his back on them at anu ang expected mong mangyayari pag wala ang Diyos sa kanila? 

It would be disastrous. parang sa buhay din naten pag wala ang Dyos sa buhay naten our life will lack of direction, yes sa una pwedeng masarap ang buhay mo but it will not last!

Ganun ang nangyari sa mga Israelite's that time, their kings are so wicked and corrupt and God was really disappointed on them kaya God allow other nation na sakupin sila at gawin silang slave and it was a long captivity and they suffer so much, but you know even if God become angry on them nagpadala pa ren sya ng mga prophets that prophesied about the coming of messiah in fact when Isaiah prophecy the coming of Jesus it was 700 years earlier!

Yes ganun katagal! The Israelite's’ thought that their messiah is like King David, ang akala nila na ang ipapadala ng Dyos para iligtas sila sa mga sumakop sa kanila ay katulad ni David, a warrior that will fight for them and will deliver them from the hands of their enemies yun ang nasa isip nila at kung nabuhay din ako nung time na yun tingin ko din eh ganun din katulad ni King David kase nga panu sila makakalaya sa sumakop sa kanila right? 

So ang iisipin mo talaga that there would be a war that will happen yung napapanuod naten sa mga movies di ba , na susugod dun sa kingdom tapos may mga archer may mga swordsman na nakikipaglaban tapos uubusin talga yung lahat ng kalaban,at makakalaya na sila, yun ang akala nila.

BUT! God has a better plan! God has a Radical plan on his mind that will shock the whole world what’s the redemption means!

After many many years, hundreds upon hundreds of years of waiting! Isipin mo bago ipanganak si Jesus eh sobraaaaa tagal na paghihintay ang ginawa nila sobra dami generation na ang lumipas wala pa reng KING katulad ni David na mag-liligatas sa kanila. 

I’m sure they doubted it many times at yung iba siguro ay nakalimutan na or kinalimutan na about their messiah , di ba parang sa buhay din naten when God promises you something and place a dreams in your heart sa una syempre super excited ka, 

pero habang lumilipas ang panahon, if your dreams and the promises are not yet been fulfilled at sobra tagal mo ng naghihintay. I’m sure you will feel discourage and you want to give up that dreams.

Normal lang yun kase were humans, but the question is How long you can still wait?

MEANWHILE! Habang busy ang lahat ng tao , an Angel appear to Marry and that angel told marry that He will bear the son of God and She will name it JESUS! That prophecy has been fulfilled that promises has been fulfilled by God by the least they expected. 

You know what I love about God? He can never ever lie! When He promises something on you He will fulfill it not on our time table but on his time! Because He knows what’s best for His son and daughters because He is a father.

Nung time na yun eh sobra nagulat talaga si Marry and She would never thought on Her wildest dreams that God will choose her to bear Jesus on Her womb but God’s favor is on her because of her pure heart and she trust God and say Yes to God’s call. When God called you to do something imitate marry say YES to God’s call, sabe nga mag “Yes ka muna bago ka kabahan” . Like marry God wants to use you.

Then the First Christmas happen, Jesus was Born in Bethlehem in a Manger, sa sabsaban sa kulungan ng mga hayop , sa mabahong lugar na puro hayop kasama ang mga pinaka mababang tao ng lipunan. it was INSANE!! The prophet told them that their messiah is their king! At dun pinili ni God na ipanganak ang nagiisang nyang Anak na si Jesus?

What’s the message of God for us? Kase di ba, isipin mo ang hari dapat ipanganak sa palasyo tapos ang dameng mga ma-impluwensyang tao na magpupunta , and there will be a feast and a party and Jesus deserve it because He is the son of God. But God demonstrate to us his true character, his true features which is being Meek and Humble.

I believe God will choose you kahit ikaw pa ang pinaka-mababang tao sa lipunan kahit hindi ka nakapag- aral, kahit ma mahirap ka lang, He’s favor is on you and He can use you in a mighty way. He doesn’t look at your background He looks on your heart. Kaya please don’t say to yourself na hindi ka worth it kase tignan mo nga, Jesus was born on a manger kasama ang mga poorest of the poor.

When Jesus was born, The whole Israel are covered by darkness they are conquered by the Romans and they force to overwork and ask them for very high taxes at sobrang gulo talaga nung time na yun, they are on a great depression and believe me nobody guess that on that darkest moment of their life, a LIGHT will come, their messiah was Born, their redemption is coming. 

God’s promises have been fulfilled after a hundreds of years. The first Christmas has happen in the whole history!

Christmas is reminding us that in our darkest moment of our life , our worst moment on our life , kahit yung pinaka madumi at pinaka-pangit pa na pangyayari saten , there is always a Hope , there is always a light , just like what happen on the first Christmas na sobra gulo ng Israel nung time na yun but Jesus came on that perfect moment to give light and hope to the whole nation and the rest is history we know that Jesus died for us , Jesus died on that cross for our sin to REDEEM us!

That was the perfect plan of God, a radical plan of God, not only to deliver them on the roman empire! No, hindi yun! But to redeem us from the slavery of sin through Jesus Christ! And God Show us His unconditional love for us even if we sin so much and we fail him many times but God say “My son I still love you and I will forgive you from all your sin”.

Christmas is all about our Love story with God, kahit na lumayo tayo sa kanya, kahit na ipag palit pa naten sya sa kayaman ng mundong ito , kahit itakwil ka pa ng mundong to , God will never leave you nor forsake you at pinakita nya yun when He gave us his only begotten son and He is Jesus the “Immanuel“ that God is always with us. He loves us so much.

I don’t know what you’re going through right now, maari hindi masaya ang pasko mo at sinsabi mo sa sarili mo na magisa ka lang and your situation are so hopeless. Allow me to encourage you! Hey! Hindi totoo yan! God knows what you've going through right now and he allow it for a purpose , He allow it to happen so that when your miracle came you know that it is God who give you that miracle and it is God who redeem you on your situation.

God works in mysterious ways and His ways our higher than ours! You need to trust him and hold on to his promises and Christmas is a perfect reminder of God that even in your hopeless situation just like the nation of Israel , 

Pwede na nga sila itapon ng Dyos eh , pero God pick them up and he send Jesus to shine the light and hope to the world! Kaya nga nasa dulo ng taon ang pasko eh and it reminds us that God will finish what He started on your life at hindi sya papayag na magtamupay ang kadiliman sa buhay mo.

I pray and declare today that your breakthroughs are coming soon! Kumapit ka lang kay Lord, He can never lie, He will be with you until the End! He is your “Emmanuel”
