What is a Metaphor?
A figure of speech in which a word or phrase is applied to
an object or action to which it is not literally applicable.
A thing regarded as representative or symbolic of something
else, especially something abstract.
Having metaphors in life is important, eto kase yung
nagiging lens mo on how you look at life.
Eto yung Magiging perception mo sa buhay especially when you
encounter challenges in life, merong mga tao na sobrang negative ang tingin
nila sa mundo and they think that life is a mistake and being alive is hopeless at habang buhay na lang silang magiging mahirap, hindi na sila magtatagumpay sa buhay at yun
ang ang kanilang metaphor in life.
Mother Theresa is one of the great people that live here on
earth and she change many peoples live because she treats people with love and
she is very compassionate to other.
Kumbaga nabuhay ang Dyos sa pagkatao ni Mother Theresa, pero
in spite of challenges that she encounter in her ministry she never lose her
posture in life, you know why?
It is because of her metaphors in life.
Eto yung metaphors in life ni Mother Theresa.
• Life is an opportunity, benefit from it.
• Life is beauty, admire it.
• Life is a dream, realize it.
• Life is a challenge, meet it.
• Life is a duty, complete it.
• Life is a game, play it.
• Life is a promise, fulfill it.
• Life is sorrow, overcome it.
• Life is a song, sing it.
• Life is a struggle, accept it.
• Life is a tragedy, confront it.
• Life is an adventure, dare it.
• Life is luck, make it.
• Life is too precious, do not destroy it.
• Life is life, fight for it."
No wonder bakit ganun si Mother Theresa, she look at life in
a radical way in spite of KO's and difficulties in life.
I believe having a positive metaphors in life can shape your
future and it can really change your life and the life of other people that surrounded
you.

“Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever
is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is
admirable--if anything is excellent or praiseworthy--think about such things.”

Yan yung isa sa metaphor ko sa buhay at yan yung ginagawa ko
every day, to build myself, to do everything to build my dreams and my faith at eto yung nag-sisilbing compass ko =)
Tuwing meron akong nakakausap na tao I always want to build
their hopes up and I want to encourage them to dream big and to have faith in God.
Kung isa ka sa mga subscriber ko at napapdalhan kita ng mga

faith in life.
I encourage you to create your own metaphors in life because
this is very powerful and it can really change your life radically.
All you have to do is to take some time to have silent and
to pray to God to give you an inspiration to know your metaphors in life.
You can use sign in creating your metaphors, for example you
can be like an Eagle, kase katulad ng Eagle you want to fly high and to be
different to other people.
Pwede mo din gamitin ang Lion, kase katulad ng isang lion
that are so strong and considered king of the jungle , you want to excel in
your niche and you want people to know as an expert and king in that niche that
you choose.
Pwede ka din maging katulad ng isang Bamboo tree, kase ang
bamboo tree kahit anung bagyo pa ang dumaan kahit na dumadapa pa sya he can
still stand up in spite of the strong storm.
Pwede mo din gawin yung ginawa ko, you can write a word that
will describe your metaphors in life and put it in your computer, Cp or ilagay
mo lugar na pwede mo sya lageng makita to remind you.
I tell you after you do this activity it will create a great
impact in your life, why? Kase meron din nag-turo saken neto at sobrang
nakatulong to saken at binago neto buhay ko kaya gusto ko tong i-share sayo.
Eto yung pwede mong gmiting guideline in creation your own

1. Does your metaphor empower your situation or
circumstance? Does it allow you to face challenging situations?
2. Does your metaphor empower you to be joyful, peaceful and
in general behave with a positive state of mind? Or, does it make you demotivated
or worst depressed?
3. Does your metaphor empower you to improve your skills,
knowledge and capabilities?
4. Does your metaphor match your beliefs and core values to
guide your life just like Mother Teresa’s metaphor? (Note: It will be helpful
to identify your top five core values (what you believe is important to you)
then evaluate if your metaphor is aligned to it.)
5. Does your metaphor represent your mission statement or
purpose in life?
6. Is your metaphor aligned to God’s message that you are
His temple, His Son and His Branch? Do you feel your metaphor is aligned to
God’s calling for your life?
Go ahead create your own metaphors in life!
